Mercedes-Benz is one of those companies that continually strive to innovate and they do have a ton of amazing ideas. The Vision AVTR is a great example. Inspired by the movie Avatar, the Vision AVTR is designed with the idea to merge the driver with the car.
It comes with a very distinctive design inspired by the movie, impressive visuals and you get to see the outside unlike any other place out there.
The vehicle itself is just a concept at this time, however, it really shows where the future of cars will be when self-driving cars will become the norm.
When you sit in the vehicle, Vision AVTR will detect your pulse and once you are in you can use your senses in order to manage and handle the car. It’s interesting to see that you can use the screens as a monitor if you want to do that.
Another thing to note is that the car has some bionic flaps on the side, these are meant to make the car look like a reptile. It’s one of the most rewarding ideas you would ever get here, and the best part is that the battery techy they are using is based on graphene organic cell chemistry. Even the battery materials are compostable, which is exactly what you can expect in a situation like this.

We don’t know the complete specs, but it’s easy to see that Vision AVTR is quite the crazy ride and it can even turn sideways around 30 degrees. Yes, it can even do a crab walk.
Mercedes Benz is known for the fact that they are always creative when it comes to concept cars and this one certainly shows their creativity in some interesting ways.
We were expecting something inspired by Avatar since the sequel is coming soon, but what Mercedes accomplished with the Vision AVTR is staggering.
